Our Fairmont Travel Goal

Carl and I have always had great experiences staying at Fairmont hotels, enough that we even bought the Fairmont mattress and pillows for our own bedroom (lol). Somewhere along the way, staying at different Fairmonts became a fun little travel goal for us.

We’re starting with every Fairmont in Canada, with the eventual goal of staying at every Fairmont in North America. We’re not racing to finish the list or planning every vacation around it. We just add another one when it makes sense with somewhere we already want to go.

So far, our favourite has been Fairmont Château Whistler, particularly the Fairmont Gold experience. Our least favourite stay was Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa, where the air conditioning wasn’t working during a heat wave.
